I can give you a quote for a computer to suit your needs. It would comprise the best and most reliable hardware. You get a better quality PC for your money. I can also transfer your files from your old PC to your new one. Your new computer would be covered by a one year guarantee.
Set up of a new PC
I can help you set up a new computer to your individual needs, install additional hardware such as printers or scanners, set up Internet connection and, if necessary, train you on using email and other software. Sometimes you might just need a bit of advice over the phone so feel free to call – if I’m not around leave a message and I’ll call you back as soon as I can.
PC upgrades and maintenance
If you are having problems with freezing, display problems, sound or modem not working. If your PC is taking a long time to start up or just shows a blue screen then I can come to your house, diagnose the problem and give you a quote to repair it. I can also advise on the best ways to make your PC more efficient and upgrade it whether it be software or hardware. All parts purchased are covered by a one year guarantee.
Networks and wireless networks
If you have more than one home computer I can connect them to share Internet and other resources.
Training
I canhelp you make full use of Windows and help use Office applications: Word, Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint). I can also help you browse safely on the Internet, create your own web page, limiting web site access to your children and video communications. I can help you to use your scanner, printer and digital camera.
